ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is the international standard for a quality management system (“QMS”).  In order to be certified to the ISO 9001 standard, a company must follow the requirements set forth in the ISO 9001 Standard. The standard is used by organisations to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements and to demonstrate continuous improvement.

REACH is the European Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It entered into force in 2007, replacing the former legislative framework for chemicals in the EU. REACH shifts the responsibility from public authorities to industry with regards to assessing and managing the risks posed by chemicals and providing appropriate safety information for their users. The main aims of REACH are to ensure a high level of protection for human health and the environment, including the promotion of alternative test methods, as well as the free circulation of substances on the internal market and the enhancement of competitiveness and innovation.


Fair wear

Together with garment brands and other industry players, Fair Wear Foundation work on better labour conditions for the people who make the clothes. The men and women working in clothing factories often are employed under dangerous and abusive conditions for poverty wages. That is why FWF pushing towards a new normal, where workers feel safe and respected and receive a salary that is enough to provide for their families. Fair Wear brands show that there is a better way to make clothes, a way that puts the people who make them front and centre. FWF is determined to make this the new normal.

LTP Group and Fair Wear members have jointly committed to making step-by-step improvements in the lives of the people who make their clothes. This means a commitment to uphold the Fair Wear Code of Labour Practices. Fair Wear verifies the process of step-by-step improvements towards full implementation of the Code of Labour Practices.

RWS - Responsible Wool Standard

The Responsible Wool Standard is a voluntary standard that addresses the welfare of sheep and the land they graze on. The goals of the Responsible Wool Standard are to provide the industry with a tool to recognise the best practices of farmers; ensuring that wool comes from farms that have a progressive approach to managing their land, practice holistic respect for animal welfare of the sheep and respect the Five Freedoms of animal welfare.

FSC - Forest Stewardship Council

Higg FEM

The Higg Index is a suite of tools that enables brands, retailers, and facilities of all sizes - at every stage in their sustainability journey - to measure social and environmental sustainability performance. Developed by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, the Higg Index is the leading assessment for standardized supply chain sustainability assessment. The Higg Index delivers a holistic overview that empowers businesses to make meaningful improvements that protect the well-being of factory workers, local communities, and the environment.

GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. The aim of the standard is to define world-wide recognized requirements that ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer. Textile processors and manufacturers are enabled to export their organic fabrics and garments with one certification accepted in all major markets.

FLA - Fair Labour Association

Since 1999, FLA has helped improve the lives of millions of workers around the world. As a collaborative effort of socially responsible companies, colleges and universities, and civil society organisations, FLA creates lasting solutions to abusive labor practices by offering tools and resources to companies, delivering training to factory workers and management, conducting due diligence through independent assessments, and advocating for greater accountability and transparency from companies, manufacturers, factories and others involved in global supply chains.

BSCI - Business Social Compliance Initiative

The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is a leading supply chain management system that supports companies to drive social compliance and improvements within the factories and farms in their global supply chains. BSCI implements the principle international labour standards protecting workers’ rights such as International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions and declarations, the United Nations (UN) Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and guidelines for multinational enterprises of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

Please Note: The BSCI program is not a program for certification - a supplier may not receive a formal certificate upon conclusion of the BSCI audit. The BSCI program is a voluntary system by which BSCI members (retailers and brands) work with their suppliers to be in compliance with the BSCI code of conduct.
